Prices of games are different based on the region or country, and many times Origin’s Mexico store has lower prices than other regions. Setting Up the Proxy Connection
You can’t directly access the Mexican store, Origin servers will identify your country from your IP address and redirect you to your country’s store. To circumvent this, we use a proxy. Now depending on the browser you use, procedures for setting up proxies will be different. I am explaining the procedure for the two most popular browsers, Firefox & Chrome. For Chrome Chrome relies on system internet settings. We will not mess with that, instead we will use an add-on to set up the proxy. From the extensions store, install extension Proxy SwitchySharp. Open the SwitchySharp Options by going to Settings > Extensions. In the HTTP Proxy field enter the IP address of the proxy server and the port number in the Port field. Hit Save to finish. To load the profile, click on the blue globe icon in the top-right corner of Chrome and select the profile you saved.
