How to find duplicate images using VisiPics
Download and install this tool on your computer. Now select the folder that contains pictures, in the folder tree. You can also select the whole computer drive. For example, I selected F drive of my computer. Slide the “Filter” to decide the way you want it to scan folders for duplicate images Click “Play” button to start the process. It will take some time to process all the images of the selected folder. All the duplicate files will appear on the left. You can anytime pause or stop the process with the help of the given button.
How to delete duplicate images
Hover your mouse over the thumbnails. It will show you the preview on the right side. If you are sure about the duplicate image and want to delete it then left click on the picture. It will be marked. Similarly you can mark as many duplicate images as you want simultaneously. After selecting all the files, click on “Delete” button. It will ask again for confirmation. Click “Yes”. All the marked duplicate images will be deleted and sent to recycle bin. This tool is fast and simple to use. There are other options available, like un-ignore, un-select, ignore and auto select folders. You can also move the duplicate images to a different folder instead of deleting them.
